The Winchester Royal built in the 15th century
has been a bishop's house, a convent and, since 1870, a hotel.
It offers excellent accommodation and conferencing facilities.
It is quietly located just a hundred yards from
the pedestrian High Street, close by the Cathedral and riverside
walks.
There are 3 main conference rooms plus boardrooms
and syndicates. The largest can accommodate 120 guests. All
rooms are well lit and ventilated, with direct access from
the hotel car park and internally. All have telephone, fax
and computer sockets and all the staff are dedicated to your
conference needs.

All bedrooms have a writing desk with good
lighting, colour TV with satellite/cable and Sky Sports, radio,
direct dial telephone, hairdryer, trouser press and tea/coffee
making facilities. No smoking bedrooms. Many rooms overlook
the hotel's garden. There is one restaurant called the Conservatory
and one bar.
It is in an ideal location for conferencing
and relaxing with local places of interest such as the Watercress
Steam Railway, Romsey Abbey, Broadlands House, Winchester
Cathedral and Close, Great Hall and Round Table, HMS Victory
and Mary Rose, National Motor Museum, Beaulieu Palace House,
Stonehenge, Salisbury, The New Forest and is ideal base for
golfing and other activities.
